I’ve always had a flair for languages. Fluency in half a dozen distinct Indian languages and two foreign languages is a proof of this. A career switch from Corporate Communications to English teaching was a huge change for me, but one that I love. I believed in the Cactus Education approach of teaching English in English right from the start. I've learned German and the school I went to insisted that we communicate only in German at all times in the campus, using the same theory that the more you are exposed to the language and the more you have to use it, the better you will learn. That is why, besides the assignments and their evaluations, every learner should take the opportunity to use the forum to interact with instructors and get more out of their courses and themselves.
